Shiver

Ache intensifies
overwhelming grief.

I miss warmth.

Nearly in, part way out,
fighting urge to turn -

          yet,
          it is time.

I am selective and bristle
with close kept insistence.

Near -
     I can almost touch
          I almost know ...

I stream sorrow beyond limits,
and beg for ease.

Heart pounds
in sweat beaded dreams
where my name echoes.

I hear it

and my edges shiver,

filter between light and flesh,
and the dark shriek of dreams.

Dear Wisteria

What a sad poem. Very good though and yes, I agree about grief, I still grieve and sometimes it can take over your life. Enough of that, my fave lines are: I stream sorrow beyond limits, and beg for ease. Love it all. Love to you and yours. Lyz. XX

Thank You

It is a sad poem for certain. Loss can be overwhelming at times, but is, after all, a part of life. Thank you for reading. -Wist
