Things What I Thunk

Things what I thunk
Dug deep out my trunk
Chucking out my junk
Rhyme; My shit goes clunk
Like a prayer for a monk
Sweet music like funk
Symbolic like the Ankh
Rhyme; Make me feel drunk
Keep me out of the gunk
Of life, ain’t gon’ get sunk
Stops my mind goin’ kerplunk
Rhyme; Religion it stunk
Off school I did bunk
Preached to like a punk
But I got my learning chunk

hello

The repetitious rhyming sound of thunk, trunk, junk and clunk, etc. gets a little bit monotonous, but still is clever. Always, Cat

Hi Cat,I really appreciate

Hi Cat, I really appreciate your comment, thank you very much! I don't normally write like this, I was experimeting with this one and I did think the same. I wanted it to seem like someone who may not have had a good education can still rhyme by speech, hece the title "Things What I Thunk" - it doesn't make sense. Joel x
