when I belonged to my younger self

a little Spanish mambo-jumbo,
a little salsa, a little merengue,

we were young and danced
cheek-to-cheek
a temptation tango,
our bodies hot with sweat and desire
the élan of music and song,
the red wine of our drunkenness

dreams
you sang to me
in the time of our time,
when we loved
the sweetness in our hearts
before our jeans faded blue.

Dear Kailashana

Beautiful. What a lovely picture you have posted. The Tango, with the one you love. Ex or not, what a memorable time in your lives. Beautiful. Love to you and yours, Lyz.xx

this is sweet remembrance

this is sweet remembrance and treasure to have had such passion and, perhaps a bit sad not to dance still- or not to dance so intensely. beautiful ken
