this slivered moon
Past this window descending
lowest edges aflame
by reflections molten
amidst night's deepest black
this arc, this slivered moon,
teasing my thoughts to follow
to the west,
body trembles an empty room
I thought of holding you
courage and pretense abandoned,
a boy again
alone
naked,
falling to the stars.
lowest edges aflame
by reflections molten
amidst night's deepest black
this arc, this slivered moon,
teasing my thoughts to follow
to the west,
body trembles an empty room
I thought of holding you
courage and pretense abandoned,
a boy again
alone
naked,
falling to the stars.
