Bleeding for Peace

With my blood
in peace
I smear my mark,
fingertips
tentatively stroke,
nothing is in vain,
beneath plasma
ever faint
eternal streams of
hope and faith

Never regretting,
but ever forgetting
forgiveness with love
in hand
reconnect the circle,
what started history's past
now,
cannot remember
to regret

Reaching
to touch mysteries,
the future
has yet to forget,
it flamed
out of reach
in the wonders
yet to come,
and given
the gift of patience,
in a time that forgot
to breathe

A steady heartbeat echos
aching to inhale

We have three or four Liz's now ... I like knowing someones name LOL I am a curious creature by nature but know where the lines drawn .. my mother told me cant hurt to ask as long as you aint breaking hearts ... anyway thanks for the support we all have times where our writing struggles but flying together .. and having like minds that understand the poet ? thats the real gift in my opinion love and hugs Jayne x x

I think we have way tooo much in commen but thats a good thing you can support and make them laugh while I am away ... sometimes this place just needs to lighten up with all the emotions running around ... well what can I say sometimes comic relief is called for ... and I am the site clown lol ;) biggest hugs to you dear liz ... you make me smile always and are a huge asset to the site in my humble opinion

I recommend you read this one very slowly ;) if you do it will make more sense its meant to be read very slow ... I wrote it this way to slow people down in the read ... there is always something big on the horizon but the non-believers wont see it anyway ... you have to believe LOL sorry I am in a mental mood tonight excuse my cheeky self ... Someone new emerging indeed

Dearest Jayne I feel the flow of the ocean of poems you have washed us with was only the waters breaking on the birth of your poetic heart. This is the real you ... ( dare I say this and not get shot down for my honesty) The singy songy rhymes are not needed here to lull the reader, you have emerged from the pages as a new power. Dear Liz

My guns are at ease today LOL ... I have known for a while that my comfort zone is in rhyme and when I am writing in rhyme its usually when I lack confidence which I often do ... Its easy to be overwhelmed for me ... I am trying to find a relaxed confidence in these sorts of writes ... not pushing just gently easing my way ... its the only way I know how without making a mess of things .. I will continue to journey in words till they run out ... every night I make time to write and each time its like the dam burst I may get 5 ideas roughly down on paper and then i walk away looking at them later and usually my mood decides the format of the poem ie. rhyme or not ... very few pieces I put on are recent ... our good professor told me a long time ago write it and walk away and come back and still see if you feel the same about it lol was the best advice I ahve been given ... but I am going to tell you a secret this one was one of few I put on the day I wrote it ... and theres a secret message in it for one person and when they read it they will know ... I am sure of it ;) ...but it was from the heart .. and with love .. What a wise man that professor was

It was good to learn from the way you write, thank you for sharing that with me and all of neopoet...secret? what secret. I have been delighted to read the support you have been getting from friends, family and adopted family and your pure love and laughter brings the Aussie sunshine to rainy Scotland through your joy. And still is .. if you ever get bored look up the nickname professor hes not been around the last two months or so busy with life but hes writen some amazing stuff as has his partner Lacy /calliope ... And if anyone helped me improve it was him , he made me pull my head out of my ass and realise that I hadnt even scratched the surface ... recently he even told me I am getting good and from him that was like praise from heaven LOL well he did help me a lot and I mean a lot!! hes a very good friend and was my unoffical mentor from the first day ... Liz I have had the privelage of being accepted and loved and improved here at Neopoet and if anything I can share helps someone else writing ... I am smiling cause thats what this place is all about and I can never repay all the support I have received ever ... Want to know a secret .. there is a saying in our house 'dont run from jaynie with a gun cause you will just die tired' LOL I grew up on a farm and my grandfather taught me I am a dead shot ... dark night shoot out now theres a poem liz LOL haha huggles big love from down under Jayne x x x
