Elevation

Such a state
of agitation
brimmed with fear
and contemplation
for the current situation
finds me longing for respite
Yet the calming
numbing feeling
merely suppresses
mind from reeling
while my fate
its idly sealing
in the isolating plight
while I seek a resolution
I am filled with constitution
hoping for a revelation
to bring within me, elevation
A futile life
I don't desire
So I ask of this great fire
seek out your places
in the mire
ignite my soul
and take me higher
