goodbye

Close your eyes my love,
you've been through enough.
tossed here,
tossed there,
nothing was ever fair.

Close your eyes my love,
the blood drips like the love you lost.
a pill now,
a cut later,
its better that it all stops.

Close you eyes my love,
your tears will dry up in a while.
forget all things said,
forget all things done.
dont be strong,
just move along.

Close your eyes my love,
dont look at me
as i set you free.
im sorry
if this hurts.
dont scream
im doing your dream.

Your gone my love,
life will be cold and alone,
but, at least your safe
out of this place.

i will always love you.

I apologise for my lack of comment I was a little taken aback at the subject matter .. I am in the middle of a nasty round of chemo so you can understand this one cut to bone ... and I disagree I think you have just enough, without taking it over the top ... This is a stunning write Love Jayne x x

Welcome Ms Kriel!

Who would've thought rampant psychopathology lurks in a small South African town! This poem beautiful transmits just that, from a microcosm to the vast macrocosm of the world. Poignant, sad and very powerful! Excellent write! Bonita j

Hi

A compassionate write, but also a poem that could be debated, brave write yet written with sensitivity. Well done. Bought a tear to the eye. Love Lyz. XX

Oh yes!

This is beautifully tragic and chilling. This is the second poem I have read of yours tonight and again I am pulled in right at the beginning...and although it is very dark and there is an urge to make a quick exit...you capture the reader right through to the end. Keep up this excellent work my friend.
