I used to think home was a place
A location on a map
Being lost for an eternity
Is that where I'm at
Could home be a person?
That feeling so devine
So what of bricks and mortar
What place is there to find?
But we are in no building!
We are in no Shrine!
Only sitting by a river
Just her heart and mine
With that one, that perfect one
I now begin to feel
That love does last forever
And it just feels unreal!
So coming home, what of it
I now begin to find
My heart has come to realise
Her body, soul and mind
We are home!
A location on a map
Being lost for an eternity
Is that where I'm at
Could home be a person?
That feeling so devine
So what of bricks and mortar
What place is there to find?
But we are in no building!
We are in no Shrine!
Only sitting by a river
Just her heart and mine
With that one, that perfect one
I now begin to feel
That love does last forever
And it just feels unreal!
So coming home, what of it
I now begin to find
My heart has come to realise
Her body, soul and mind
We are home!
