The Forgotten

Don't under estimate the lost souls
Time has not punished them as you thought
Salvation gives breath to the honest
Hearts will bleed a crimson river

Those chains were your own
That terrible cavenous trap you laid
You assumed our end was sealed
Four legged dance to our betrayal

Through the muck and filth we waded
We learned your unclean game in time
You continued your lust for the innocent
We lived as one of you for an age

To measure your debt to the pure
Our Kashmir cloaks removed
Your fear now reflected
In pools of your vacant sorrow

To you I do not pity
Watch you drown I will
From your own poisoned hands
You scream your filthy soul dry

No mark can you make on the pure
They come unified for their reward
To see the forgotten ones rise
Golden solidarity their great gift

Ahh… Stuart…..your

Ahh... Stuart.....your "Too much light or too dark... either way, you're blind." says it all, this poem *The Forgotten*, a caveat, bejeweled. Love renegotiates its terms. ;-) ~A There are no strangers in Paradise.

Love is a two way street..Shower the ones you love and no others

Dear ~A, I had much pleasure writing this. The light and dark lesson was a good one and one I was appreciative to have learnt. These days I like to walk an off white or brighly coloured path. Must admit the beer when down well last night Happy that you liked this piece Best Regards Stuart
