Ink-Heart

I cant copy my heart
and show you a map,
but I can tell how I feel
as we start to backtrack

Crawling with love
roaring in my ears,
its the beat that I feel
and not all that I hear

A touch from a mind
vast oceans away,
is calming me gently
a maelstrom delayed

A shower of teardrops
carved the sorrow and pain,
but the warmth of emotions
is like the sun to the rain

And aching of chambers
pumping life force to free,
another form of healing
drawing sap from a tree

The laughter of children
my hearts musical notes,
drifts through my windows
my spirits lifted with hope

Charting life's journey
as I show from my art,
and I'll bleed from my pen
forever with my Ink-heart

I am still not sure on this write I have had a look at it this morning and changed it but I am still not satisified ... not sure something isnt right and ... maybe its just too flat I've been writing very flat the last few weeks maybe the break while I am away will give me a little energy in my writing I am so not happy with it at the moment but anyway thanks for the read darlin I am glad you liked it ... I do what I can , and in some ways I have more time than other people here to help lol and it makes me feel useful ... something I havent felt since I got sick soo its filled a void having to give up my music has left a massive hole in my life ... Its hard when I get calls all the time wanting me to do things (not everyone realises I am sick)and sometimes lately I cry and say I would love to BUT ... so Neopoet is as good for me as I maybe for it, and it has sheltered me through some rough weather this last seven months lol its seven months yesterday since I joined ... time has flown ... and dragged in the same breath lol thanks for the comment on this one I dont like it I think somethings wrong with it but I cant put my finger on it ... its sending me balmy maybe leave it for a few days I ahve a freestyle poem I have been working on for a month might finish it and give this one time to breath and come back to it ... sometimes I find things are clearer when I do that .... hope your both over your flu I am going to be round a bit tonight will write you both and catch up this weeks been ... hectic lol ..Tell Olya I said ello and huggles Love and higgest bugs Jayne x x x x

I have seen the movie InkHeart but didnt know there was a book ... I own a copy of InkHeart Brenden Fraser is in it ..... and its simply wonderful movie is the book about a guy that can make stories come alive just by reading a book ? Yes, Jayne,

that's the movie that was made from the book. Cornelia Funke is the author, and there are two sequels (Ink Blood and Ink Death). I devoured the whole series, couldn't wait for part 3 to be published! So if you ever feel like reading a lot of wonderful words, you should try to get your hands on those books :) Yours, ~Nina

I have been typing and playing piano for literally ever ... I type at warp speed Neopoet is very very special and its a place worth working with .. I have been a chat host here and I am also a guide ... I plan to apply for the advocates team when i get back but I felt it unfair to ask before I go away so I will wait till I get back ... glad you like it here ... LOL god you crack me up ... in a good way ... I have the worst headache today cant shake it ... your comment cheered my sad ass up lol I know I was busy yesterday, when I have been crook from the chemo I tend not to be around much, but when I feel ok like I did yesterday I get working and catch up with all I missed out on .. its relaxing and I have so many wonderful friends here I love it I am going away for a transplant I will be back around xmas early new yr ... so about 7-9 weeks its hard to say this side of things lots depends on how things go ... and I aint going nowhere they will have to ban me to get rid of me from here LMAO !!! the advocates? :O lol I never felt I was qualified enough for the position and now well I think I am lol I have worked hard to improve here ... Liz when I started I was a shocker LOL but over the months its getting there but ... yeah I am still working on my masterpiece one day I might just write that perfect poem yanno LOL isnt that what we all want ? you take care its storming like you wouldnt believe here big hail stones and lightning that is just stunning LOL I LOVE STORMS !! and we need the rain v bad Love and higgest bugs Jayne You just been bugged LOL
