The Goblin's Ball

Bobbing pumpkins, floating ghosts among the masked party hosts
An organ playing on its own as guests are greeted by Mr. Bones
Cobwebs dangling from chandeliers getting caught on pointed ears
Cackling witches, bubbling spells cast from the rims of wishing wells
Howling werewolves dancing upright, twirling madly in the moonlight
Flapping wings of vampire bats,  who dropping quickly, scare black cats
Monsters, ghouls and Frankenstein sit pounding forks anxious to dine
Spinning rooms and flying brooms parked outside a mummy's tomb
Billowy capes swirl around creating music without the sound
What a fright to see them all, cutting it up at the Goblin's Ball

hello again

This piece is both clever and fun. I enjoyed the read. It reminds me of a very, very old song titled: "The Monster Mash." Very creative. Always, Cat
