Apples-Sauce!
Red and shiny apples hang heavy on the branch
Waiting for pie baking fingers
Frosty breath fogging my glasses
As I pick up a peck from my saucy lass
Crunchy, juicey bites drip...
Sweet dribbles down my chin
Oral delight, teeth snapping
Through taut, crispy skin
Reaching high for best of best
Feel the sun warm my face
Sweet scent of fruit
Competing with the bees
For nectar of the Autumn gods
Oh, how heavenly the emotion
Hand in hand, walking through the rows
Hot cider with fried cakes, and talk...
What wonders, does this day hold?
Music of heart, beats strongly in my chest
I love... I love... I love...
Sweet lady of mine
My vision sees...
Clearer now, than I ever have seen
Forever and ever, I know this true
I will always and ever, have this love for you
