Loves Quest

Love rested in your palmWith slow beating wings ofA world’s heartbeat atWhich you marvelled.Pattern, colourTextured qualities wereImbued on you.You touched itFelt yourself within its depthsBecame as one with its rhythm. Observing its emergenceFrom the cocoon of its former lifeYou closed your jealous fistUnaware of the giftBestowed on you

You continue your quest for LoveUnaware you had already found it

Excellent

You have a quality of articulate writing and I love it. All morning I have read what I can only explain as pure poetry, I just cant believe that each that I have read, are gems in their own right. And you dear Liz, are amongst that rank. As for Loves Quest, I think we all at one stage in our lives, do not realize that what we seek we have already, smack, right in our face. Thank you for this gem. Love to you and yours. Lyz. XX

Hi Liz

Thanks so much for dropping by, filling my world here with light and love with your kind words. There are many beautiful poems on Neo at the moment and giving the time to reading and sharing them is a voyage in itself. Love and best wishes returned through cyberspace to you. Liz

Dear Seabhac:

A beautiful poem! If I had to pick the lines that I like most, they are the first four. They are a complete poem all by themselves. In general, I believe it's a poem of hope, a positive one, such as many of your poems. Great Work! Sincerely, Hugo

Lovely Hugo

You tune into the words and flow of other poets as well as beautifully portraying your own words. You see the soul of a poem at a glance. Yes sad but such hope, such great hope and a message of course. Interesting about the first four lines, I am not yet brave enough to try and steady a poem on so few lines...maybe I just ramble on too much, in time my friend every poem teaches me something new. Kind thoughts to you Liz

I wondered how you had the energy

I used to think how does Jayne manage to read and write all these great comments about so many of the poets on Neopoet and ...and still write amazing poetry but I have slowly come to realise that sharing in this way is energising in its own right. Thank you for visiting with me, so far away and yet so near in my thoughts. My love to you and yours Jayne Liz

Hi Liz

Beautiful and deep, you write them as I like them. The line: You closed your jealous fist made me think of someone crushing a butterfly. Always, Cat
