It was me who was lucky
to see you twice a week
although you weren't always plucky
we'd definately always speak

Your days were short
but time spent was long
which didn't help cos
they always dragged on

Frowns were made upon
the unpolished unkept shoes
which was all a big con
but it kept you amused

I remember one day
when you turned up for work
sporting a black eye I must say
betcha felt like a right odd burke

Tell me someone please whose idea
to force manual labour upon your slender frame
why didn't they just go to ikea
they will be forever so lame

I do hope your pay will be amended
when you hand back your locker key
for your time with us has sadly ended
so you can put your feet up with a cup of tea
