Rejuvenated

 

Rejuvenated

Once more my love

You seem to be
in a quandary

Why to do you appear
to be  so dazed?


you seem to be worried

Each hour

Each moment

Tell me
What can be done

To assure you
As always.

 

I have for ever contributed  my best
I know to that
you now too also confess
but the whirling’s in your mind

I find are changing,
fast,

Every time


Your worry is my gravest concern

This fact I hope you do discern

My love come back

To your original strain

Surely  you will soon be
like before
once again...

A shared intimacy, well written

I agree with Jess about the

I agree with Jess about the two lines. I find myself wondering with the subject about what is behind the lover's troubled eyes. I find myself tripped up with the last two lines, "A real unit of love/ we will form regain". This poem resonated with me, as I am sure it has with anyone who has had a love, after all we've all thought, "What are they really thinking?"
