My dear young lady, as my

My dear young lady, as my first attempt was barely a year ago I feel that I still have loads to learn. I have found that my particular style is not universally accepted and most "poets" appear to favour the deeper philosophical musings, whilst I read and appreciate such works, they are, unfortunately, not my style. So, I shall carry on carrying on and persevere in my own particular fashion. As for having a book published, well, I have been told that getting poetry into print is particularly difficult and for me, vanity printing is not an option. I have had several pieces published this year in anthologies and magazines unfortunately the only payment was a couple of free copies but we can dream, I have just sent some of my stuff to an extremely well known publisher, they have been told to expect it (via a friend of a friend) so at least I know it will get read, whether or not they like it is another matter. Anyway Anna you have always left me such wonderful comments on here, how could I ever contemplate putting my ditties anywhere else. Regards John
