Colour me beautiful

Raunchy redsIn sensuous huesCooled down with fingers of blueLuscious pink lipsOn shoulder tipsTeeth of white inCrescent brightAzure deep eyesOf distant skies Healing coloursOf autumn aboundDelicate beauty all aroundAll too soon the colours goRobbed by winters whitened snowWithin her grasping touchShe washes in a crystal glow Too Late! For warmth of autumnHas touched withinColoured the blood beneath my skinThawed the coldness thereBanished the blackness to the nightGiving me the strength to fightMy confidence is raisedI am once again awareLife has coloured me beautiful

Black was never really my colour

Thank you for the Azure drift, defiantly longing for summer skies in far away places. I am literally going from strength to strength, good to have that affirmed. Learning as always not least of all here on Neo.

"Our sensuality and sexuality is directly linked to our wellbeing and the colour of our world, it profoundly affects our inner self, reflected in our outer image of ourselves" I think that your poem really captures this sentiment. A beautiful, powerful and profound piece. My favorite lines are: For warmth of autumn Has touched within Coloured the blood beneath my skin Thawed the coldness there Banished the blackness to the night Giving me the strength to fight My confidence is raised I am once again aware Life has coloured me beautiful Always, Cat

Thanks you Cat

You prowl through Neo leaving little Gems of insight as mousey gifts at the feet of many poems. Thank you for making me feel worthy of your gift. Hugs Liz

Anni recently wrote a poem

Anni recently wrote a poem in which she poemed a *worthy* woman. We were born worthy, taught unworthiness and so learned how to be worthless, the antithesis of well-being. I think poets possess the ability to fearlessly reach deep into their paintbox of emotions to bring clarity and beauty through their work, just as you have. "You are so beautiful to me"... DearSeabhac:

How wonderful you have plunged to the depths, with artistic, flowery ability. I can see the treasures you have brought from the azure depths of the ocean of your soul. Great poem! Sincerely, Hugo

Aww, You are already beautiful

And very colorful indeed. These words you have written, are from your beautiful, colored heart, mind and soul. I loved the way you have colorfully worded this poem, and the 2nd stanza is so fresh. I love this, Lyz. XX

A Word from Dalton

This one reads like a form of incantation, or a protection spell, I hope it works. I liked it a lot & hope you continue with more of these, keep it up Dalton.
