His Affliction / A pure heart
A heart clean and pure
No stain of guilt is here.
Prayers to his savior
For grace to endure.
When darkness calls
with ebony allure.
Eyes piercing yellow
Evidence of his affliction
His haunting tortured bellow.
Sulfur yellow blossoms
Promise relief from
This accursed plight
Swollen and stained
With victims blood
A celestial lovers symbol.
This Guardian of the night
Shines on with selfish glee
While his soul hangs in limbo.
In the palm the sign will show
He is known to his victims
Family, friend, or foe.
Controlled by the light
This monster descends
Against his will he will slay
With uncontrolled rage
When these elements combine
To set this tragic stage .
