Mary had a little lamb
Mary had a little lambShe roasted it with mintShe didn’t want to do itBut sadly she was skintThe shepherdessing job she hadHad been outsourced it seemsA shepherding consortiumHad shattered Mary’s’ dreamsThe company contractedTo administer the flockWere highly recommendedAs solid as a rockSo Mary’s job had gone for goodIt didn’t make much senseOne little lamb one jar of jamHer only recompenseInsomnia, a side effectNow kept her from her sleepShe tried all kinds of remediesExcept for counting sheepSo, taking to the bottleHer body old and tiredOff into oblivionShe finally expired
