The Maze

I have a veiled awarenessLike being trapped in a mazeWithout a mapFollowing many false routesFaced by dead endsRetreating,WithdrawingAnd setting out againFull of hope to find that door to lead me outFearful of never finding my wayStarving in isolation.I close my eyesSight is no good hereFeeling my way,I gropeTouching anything tangibleI am on my kneesRetracing my stepsFeeling my footprintsAnd I am back to the centreI take a deep breathAnd set out once moreTaking with meThe amassed knowledgeOf my previous failuresI am alone but I move forward

Oh boy

I really love this. Just as we struggle in real life, we can also find the same as you have written, lost in a maze. Just an excellent write and read. Love Lyz. XX

Dear Seabhac:

Life is really a puzzle, we are always working and reworking the pieces, trying to make them fit, but to our dismay, the puzzle seems always incomplete, and we are still waiting for instructions so we can finish, we hope, with a big flourish. Really a delightful poem! Thank you again, Hugo

Dear Hugo

is life all about missing puzzle pieces? Oh dear I am not great at making the pieces fit. Such is our fragemented view on life...I need to focus on the bigger picture more. As always your comments provoke ever more thought. Thank you you lovely soul. Regards Liz
