Cut Ups

In the light of a candle
Her body's silhouette
The sky's mantle darkens

As the rain falls
She utters in her sleep
On such things the world turns

No moon tonight -
I sleep alone
Dreams haunted by stars. . .

Dear Dalton

Very good poem. I enjoyed this. I like the way your words come together, With Japanese forms of writing some are hard to get. But you have done a great job. Lyz. XX
