The Storm
The Storm
Love keep me warm
I went outside
there was a storm,
At home
I was ever so warm.
Come closer to me
Caress me
I’m about to freeze
It’s cold
It wasn’t so
I need you to hold me
So that I am
again as warm
As I was ever
before the storm
I went out
Yes it was a windy tour
you know not
How I felt
my body was shivering
I nearly wept
Yet ‘twas like you were
With me so near.
The storm was outside
Not within,
So love,
Come let’s rewarm,
for
The storm
is now not outside
But within
Come,
Let’s restart
and
once again
All over explore
our lif'e remain.
