sit side by side
heart take to sky
heart beat blood red
company to flight

to see, to soar,
fly up as before

I still feel almost the same

being a retired teacher, the only difference in my feelings/understanding comes in the last line. Sorry, my dear, but "forever more" is so rare as to be almost a fiction. No reason not to strive and aspire to it though, your verse is sparse, harsh and lovely, kind regards, Jean, meow, bite, purr, yowl and perfect body language express all
