UNDERNEATH THE GLAZED DOME

From the valleys to the peaks
shaped by the ebb and flow
            of H2o
Gravity feed it runs through
the land with out it soil turns
                 to sand .

Filtered by the rock and to
the beach we do flock
To gaze out on and feel the
breeze that rides the waves
this gives life a home .

Water

In some places of the world it is flooding and in others we have people and land desperate for rain. I fear this great imbalance. Great poem, here, Edd. My favorite lines are: Filtered by the rock and to the beach we do flock To gaze out on and feel the breeze that rides the waves this gives life a home I thought the very last line was unnecessary, but please don't remove it until you get more feedback, because it may just be me. Always, Cat

Perhaps, *Underneath the

Perhaps, *Underneath the Glazed Dome* would work as a title, ziggy. Water is the essence of life, perhaps the end *I am not alone*.... the wave returns to sea. ~A

sure...

His name is Beauregard but we call him Beau for short. (and Bo-peepers, Bo-diddly, Boba-fet as in Star Wars, and Bo-jangles.) He is one of four kitties that run my life, lol! Thanks for asking! Always, Cat

I like it

Dear Ziggy, this is really good and I am glad to see other sides of your writes lately and what an eye catching title. I see what Cat means with the last line but I read it with a pause between the second last line and it sounded better, to me. I enjoyed it. Great write my friend. Love from Lyz. XX

call me jean

and though born in Aussie am Irish to the bone. We are treated as jokes, as many oppressed people are, but our language, whether gaelic or expressed in english, is the most beautiful language. A wee thing you might not know, since Ireland was neutral during both world wars many scientists took refuge there. We have all that makes us human, languange, science and working on compassion, kind regards, Jean, meow, bite, purr, yowl and perfect body language express all

Mars

In keeping with our 'space' conversation, this could be about Mars, many millions of years ago?, particularly the first verse. It is suggested that there were glass domes on Mars where an ancient alien civilisation lived, and they have found evidence of similar domes on the moon. Great write, short, but actually enough to give the reader an image and feel of the topic. Good job my friend, HS ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- "With all that I am and all that I could be, I walk this earth and yet nobody sees me".

the second and third

lines are killer, Ziggy, my heart got all fluttery when I read them. I absolutely love their rhythm! I find the rest of the stanza a bit hard to read though but I suppose it was meant to be that way so as to make us concentrate. :) wonderful! your Proprietress
