A reason to live

Joy and happiness can’t begin to explain,

Or comprehend the way I feel,

I have no idea how to describe this,

So I’ll just call it, "my reason to live."

We walk through life aimlessly,

With little guidance or instruction,

“A reason to live”, what a mystery,

A bravura tale of seduction.

Stepping out there faithfully,

Though our efforts prove us naive,

But then you meet her and miraculously,

A reason to live seems easier to achieve.

Finally, I have found her,

I’ve given all my heart has to give,

I lean forward and whisper in her ear,

“You’re my reason to live”

We kiss and for a moment I forget...

My pain, my sorrow and despair

…And I cast aside all my fear...

…All for a reason to live.

hello again

You have chosen a good, strong title for this piece. Your language usage is good. The pacing flows well. I think this is a look into the fragile side of the feelings that are often felt when boy meets girl. There is something extremely delicate and fine, about this write. My favorite lines are: Stepping out there faithfully, Though our efforts prove us naive, But then you meet her and miraculously, A reason to live seems easier to achieve. Always, Cat
