Final Touch
Final touch
I long for your touch,
Touch me my dear,
When we are both near
For when the light’s out,
You’ll never know
What I meant
Before I did go
Touch me no
For it’s the need of the hour
No medicine
No visitors
None else indeed
No doctor
But you my love
I now need.
Feel me before this smouldering fire.
Extinguishes…
It’s now only or never
For ever
Touch me please;
‘Twill comfort my soul
It’s only softness
Petal touch untold
That’ll help me
Traverse my final goal.
