Dinosaurs of profit and lust
Dinosaurs of profit and lust
Hundreds of years mankind
Has search to built
Structures of love
Made with bricks and steel
Once their were no corners cut
A real structure of sweat and blood
So I say, long live these dinosaurs
A dieing breed of profit and lust
These houses , would stand for centuries
If not for mans careless fires a partnership of greed
For I love these old houses , a castle for a king
Definitive
Majestic
These houses were built with purpose
Evolutions of families , grew from this
Another laugh in a new born kid
I am a builder , forced to cut corners
Because greed and lust
Majestic dinosaurs
Are loved no more
[Put it up quick make that sale collect that rent]
When pride was a master
A crafter
A conception for projection
To lay steel and bricks to perfection
I cry for this resurrection
As I drive though the street of this dissection
Dinosaurs stand as burned fusels
Forgotten ions to a life of prosperity
Their masters are A.I.G
Or the developers that propitiate
Selfish greed
So many foreclosures
Like rabbits they breed
With only a pen
Evolutions of families
Erased from A.I.G
Ok to the reader . Where should I start? Ok in Detroit back in the forties , their were more millionaires per square mile in the USA because of the automobile [ GM , FORD , Chry ] Detroit had the first highway . So that being said. That money built the most beautiful houses ever seen [ Now the dinosaurs] . Now to use A.I.G in this poem is a metaphor that I personalized [ we all know about the bail out of A.I.G]. If only you could see these beautiful houses , that are burned down
