Here comes autumn (for my darling)

 
here I come
in rowan berries hair with coffee in the eyes
 
we play hide and seek

we are children
and more adults than ever
 
someone asks me
to dress my love for you in words
 
I am not sure though I do it
every day
 
and every day I choose you
 
it would hurt me
to try to resist
 
before you I am humble,
my eyes in love
 
with you I am better than ever
 
you are my inspiration and
I am your autumn girl

to me content always

to me content always superceeds form.This though not as complex as, and detailed as some of your work, is deeply expressive of your deepest emotion that is richly refleted here. before you I am humble my eyes in love reduces me to a shut mouth and an awed perspective. For in truth we are all at our best when we look through the eyes of children with out pretense. you hit the mark with force You serve a fine food in time it will be served on the finest china as a compliment. ..........o

Simply beautiful...

"With rowan berries hair with coffee in the eyes..." What a striking beautiful descriptive to lay on a portrait of a person, the emotion empathy to embed so deeply in your words here froths forth and forms words of love on this page Molly... I am sure your darling must be very proud and happy for this to be writen for them as the raw love is evidently pressed with tender loving care. "My eyes in Love" What can I say this line is the central piece in this poem, it has the brillant you soulfully declaring your passion fuelled thoughs on the page but in has a child like mischief and innocence about it that make the whole world spin with delight... four simple words so elegantly expressive here. Absolutely fabuolous Molly... I so do love what you have penned here! Dale :)

Dale. I am sorry about my late respond. I have been to busy lately with work and everyday things. I wish I could spend more time here. Thank you for your lovely comments about here comes autumn. This is the way I mostly love to write. Just straight out from the heart and then I just hope grammar and form is ok. This time of the year is my favourite beacuse of all the colours and fruits and the special light that comes with autumn. Lots of rowan berries this year and they say if there is lots the winter is going to be very cold. I hope they are right because I want much snow this winter and ice on the lakes. I hope your vacation went well. Did you go to Italy ? Love. o molly

No need to apologise!

Hey Molly, You don't need to apologise about your late response, I know you're busy and have so much on at the moment, I just hope you don't wear yourself out and have time to relax! I hope your daughter is well too! As for the poem Molly this is the way I like you to write too! So carefree and spontaneous, but then you are a really good writer and know how to express what you see and feel so easily on to paper. The form is absolutely fine Molly and punctuation isn't far off either... and believe me punctuation is hard even for people who use english all the time lol! I so love the autumn descriptives you use and if it does mean a harsh winter is coming your way then I hope the iridescent frosty glaze touches the world and your window but never chills your heart or spirit! Autumn is always the best part of year for me, the fine array of colours from brown, orange, yellow to red and from green, blue, purple, pink and grey... it paints a rainbow all round the world! If the snow comes... please make a snowman (or perhaps a snowdale!) and look after me all winter long... until the sun returns and melts me! :) For my hols this year I went to spain with my family (Brother, Mother and Father) it was very pleasant and we all banded togtehr to have fun times! I also went skydiving a few weeks ago and that is so amazing! Next year I am thinking about going to a scandanavian location... can you recommend anywhere nice or good Molly? Always nice to get a message from you! Hope you are well and things are good (if somewhat busy :)!) wishing you all the best. Huge Happy Hugs, Dale :)

Lovely leggy Autumn

I don't know why I said those words here but the feeling of you and your love made them come with this beautiful liitle verse of love. Dear Odd Molly, you have a lovely little poem here, but there are a couple of places where you use THAN EVER; and I am not so sure they fit so well in eh whole context of the poem, I mean they jar me a tiny bit, as you leave the poetic and bump down into the mundane everydayness of this expression, something a little more subtle is needed I feel? And then ever is after it hasn't been going so well, that's implied I think. Just something about those two and here I have expressed myself badly but I fell sure you will see my point. Sorry I only got round to this so late, it has been waiting on my desktop here so long. Beg your pardon Molly. Love Ann in Norway.

I love the first half,

I love the first half, wonderfully evoked. I think the use of *girl* leaves me flat, I've never been anyone's *girl*. Lover, friend, enemy, woman, yes. And I've been mom & dad's girl. The last three lines don't do justice, imo. it would hurt me to try to resist You are my inspiration, with you I grow before you I am humble, my eyes in love my autumn heart falling deeper.
