Was it a homicide or a suicide

Premeditated,

Planned,

Calculated,

Predetermined….

Was it a homicide or a suicide?

Full proof,

Flawless,

Infallible,

Fail-safe….

Was it a homicide or a suicide?

Unexpected,

Unanticipated,

All of the sudden,

Out of the blue…

Was it a homicide or a suicide?

And the only evidence left is always the same,

A life filled with happiness, joy, pain, sorrow, love and hate,

A life filled with betrayal, loyalty, heartache, lies, pride and kindness,

A life filled when a never-ending search for peace...

A life truly worth living,

Violently ripped away by life’s cruel reality!

All things will pass away sooner or later.

And the culprit, you ask?!

Well I’m sure you’ve guessed it by now,

A responsibility given to us by life itself,

“The responsibility to live.”

And we take this responsibility,

All too aware of the consequences,

"Time" will run its course,

And “Age” will place a close second.

And then we will all come to that unavoidable question once again,

Was it a homicide or a suicide?

Homicide or Suicide?

Living life is the greatest challenge of all. Life is not just a random series of events that we must live through, We place ourselves in positions of likely-hood through our behavior. The things we do, put us here or there. I like this a lot! Well put, in words and it flows well. The title caught my eye, that is why I read it. I was pleasantly surprised ~ Geezer
