The Assassination
Thoughts are haunted
Shrouded by black sheet
Of hard reality,
None of them are alive
But they move like zombies
They hurt me
Can harm you-
If you try to nurture them.
They are operated
Poison injected
Act as they are trained to –
Talk like drunk
And sleep in the core
Of the crippled brains;
So don’t try to think beyond –
Do not remorse for loss of sense
They are dangerous
And there’s a curfew in your head.
Don’t expect anything to change
I’m not expecting you to change
You don’t have courage to do that
Neither do I –
Like you, I stand alone
I don’t dare to move –
Cautiously I breathe
I’m afraid; I hear the chaos -
And I lean
To see the decease that died
Long ago –
The death of mine.
