Australian Mist

With grace exceeding all human understanding
The Australian Mist,
a stud
needs no graces, airs or affectations,
he is.
The queen is is a felicidal maniac and nymphomaniac
when caring for her kittens
she does so with dignity.

We can can learn from cats

Those cats of digity

This is a nice little thought you have made here, and welcome too, I look forward to more soon. Somehow the 'Australian mist' conjures up the ru's and wild places of Australia and quite rightly, as you say, the stud cat follows his instincts and just is. Sometimes so superb in movement and in carriage, each step judged exactly before the paw is placed. Wild wisdom, wild thoughts, as they are for us lying there in the genes of our forefathers waiting to surface in the form of poetry. I once had to decide whether I would take a female 'stud' she was a red-piont Siamese and her name was Salome of all things. I entered the kitchen where she was and where there were several whippits draped on the shelf over the oven, cats were everywhere but there she sat, high up, like a Queen, tall, meditating it seemed, unmoved by the chaos around her and I knew at once that she was a great character. But since the cat, my 'son'( had no children) Pingtoo had died being run over by a car just outside my house, I felt the pangs of loss plus the fact that I could put this goddess in danger too,so I lreluctantly et someoone else take her; she was past having more kittens!!! The cat is indeed a regal beast as the lion and related species, no wonder she was used in the Egyptian era so much for gods and godesses and mummified like the Pharoahs. Yours with love Ann of norway

I am not familiar with this breed, but do you know some of these cats I have heard of:- Cat holics:- a religious sect that worships cats Cat fish:- Very agile swimmers akin to the Phirana Cat bird:- a very confused sort of creature that hasn't made up its mind yet Cat astrophe:- A space creature that can cause havoc Cat enery:- A cat that has 6 wives Cat hay:- Used for bedding for Rabbits and other creatures Cat bird:- another of the species is very confused and needs more than 9 lives Cat acomb:- Has a spine that protrudes through its skin short lived Cat alepsy:- Always found curled up asleep Cat alpha:- first know spieces of domesticated animal Cat alyst;- A family tree for this spieces Cat call:- Meow of disaproval Cat kin:- Friends that drop in for parties Cat mint:- used by a feline that has bad breath I think there are many others but I am not sure as some people spell the name funny so there could be a few out there we haven't come across, with your education you may find a few others, Oh and a good bit of writing there. Welcome to this mad house of Neopoet we learn and teach each other which is as it should be, Yours, Ian.T
