I think the opening line is especially good, as it seems to encompass many circumstances. Nonsense bothers me as well. The only fault I could find was the break in consistency with Ln 3 and Ln 6: line 1, rhymes... 2, same... 3, eek! 4, back to rhymes... 5, same... 6, same as 3, the same ending was used.
