Saturdrama
And so it begins
we all draw a big breath
and step up to the ol' drama balloon,
where no one is spared
the blame's always shared
and that includes everyone in the room.
One person regrets
these last few day's "frets"
and it seems like this morning at dawn,
the phone had rang twice
and none of it was nice
and the neighbors were yelling out on the lawn.
Everybody, it seemed
slept light, with no dreams
causing mass-irritation at best,
they all were quite blind
to what was on each other's minds
drama was putting everyone to the test.
For it was saturday morn'
and it was not the norm'
the cats even acting different than before,
I tried to take things in stride
but I really wanted to hide
when suddenly, there was a knock at the door.
Some kid looking for his dad
I guess the mom was quite mad
somehow the drama here didn't feel right,
yesterday, I would say
was my personal "bad day"
but today I felt great, having slept through the night !
So I watched things unfold
and it quickly got old
but I guess drama must run through it's course,
let them say what they will
'till they've all said their fill
with hopefully, all of them ending up hoarse !
we all draw a big breath
and step up to the ol' drama balloon,
where no one is spared
the blame's always shared
and that includes everyone in the room.
