THE DAY THE EARTH STOOD STILL 911

THE DAY THE EARTH STOOD  STILL

One day the earth stood still
It began , like all the others days
With the busybodies
Enterprising
Commercializing 

We are  the land of the free
Self-contained , by the ignorance
Uncompromised is democracy
That’s our Achilles’ heel
When others despises us, to offset our solvency 

We fly the world at our will
Technology was used , as our  Achilles’ heel
The iron birds divided , the concrete and the steel
The WORLD TRADE CENTER , a democracy  surreal
To see people jumping for their life’s
Is one day the earth stood still

hi pressley, I'm back to see the goods, and the goods were superb. the words leaped out of the page at me, very concise. I loved the formatting and flow, word use was good. line comparisons were very nice.story line rocked. the day the earth stood still . is my favorite movie of all time 1956. John. Mantiscepter

Son, you have come a long way. This sent a shiver down my spine. Truth can do that. And what a well written truth it is. Our arrogance as Americans leaves us feeling some what in-touchable. The price for the pride was high. I hope to think there is more unseen that protects us, but really, we should not rely on everyone else to keep us safe. We must be prepared to help along the way. I love the distance you have traveled in your skill. It keeps getting better and better. Keep up the great work. I applaud you Press! Always, Tonya

First off how our your sons & the husband. I hope all is well ? [I REALLY MISS THAT, DON'T GIVE ME NO CRAP YOU CAN TAKE IT SON] Big smiles MOM. But I am very happy that my poetry is starting to find it's way in my mind . I still have my trademark [ the grammar issues ] smile ! But now their not so big of a deal .
