Ride, Ride, Ride

The street dark and empty

He does that slooow walk

Stepping like he has a trick knee

Vroooom! Let's give him one!

His eyes go hate, as I bump him

Turning to fear as he goes under the car

I lean out upside down, looking under my ride

Help me...He pleads... Please help me

Backing up in haste, I spin the tires, oops!

The little bit of heart he had, spills out of his nose

Music blaring from high-tech deck

As I drag his ass to the E.R.

The rope breaks as I round the long curve drive

Depositing him in a heap

In front of the double glass doors

Interns need practice... real emergencies

"Johnny's" closed 10 mins. ago

Beat 'Er Burt xing here...soon

No home-run tonight, Burt

Bam! Right to the moon!

Like a [dear] caught in the headlights

Paralyzed and wide eyed

His lips fat on the windshield

Pompadour grease smearing the wife-beater

Hung up on a fence-post

Crotch torn open, he grabs himself

Puzzled by too many fingers

His tube of flesh screams... " I'm lost!"

Whisper quiet tires, roll to a stop

Lights out, radio sings " Love Hurts"

Not any more, Burt!

He groans out of tune

Crackle-crack, lighter flares, glass bliss

You know, he killed for those hits

The bench makes a nice bumper addition

Sparkles mixed with blood and carbon-black

What's that? Stop? Sure, squealing is such fun

Make up my mind, "Com'on, or stop?

A throat full of high, muffled by bloody tongue

Makes him hard to understand

Shards of 'Bic' imbedded in shit-brown eye

Match the shredded gang-cloth green

Busted legs can't stand, so sit a spell

And ride, baby ride.....Ride, Ride, Ride

It was supposed to....

I used to watch that show, and it was supposed to remind one of that line by Ralph. I needed to be pissed off to write another 'Killer' poem. So I wrote about things that piss me off. Glad you liked it. I gave 'Killer' a car, now he is more mobile. Thinking of things he can do now! LOL L&Hugz, Gee

I was benevolent...

I was benevolent wasn't I? I mean, I did get him to the hospital. I had great fun on this ride! I think his car will be one I had when I was young and crazy. A 1963 Ford Galaxie 500 with a 351 from a '67' Mustang, dual Mallory ignition, four barrel 'Holley' Posi-traction rear-end, and four spd on the floor. It was bronze with 'Wild Thing' written on the rear fenders in crazy, drippy, purple letters, chrome reversed 'Cragers' with tan interior. I loved that car, right up until the day it tried to kill me. Thanks for the stars and comment, Gee

Dear Gee

I laughed at the beginning, Vrooom, so funny, but then the serious. I hate wife beaters, but I don't know how far I would go. Was a great write and it was a bit comic in reading. Sorry, I should be more serious or is it just my sense of humor? I still think it is good. Lyz. XX

Written for comic...

Although it was written about things that piss me off, I wrote with some comic intent. I kinda think of 'Killer' as being related to the 'Joker' from 'Batman'. I guess I need to separate myself from him just a little, I don't want anyone to think I would actually do something like this. It is just a way to have some fun, and get rid of my aggressions. Ha,ha,ha, hee,hee...Mmmmmmmm, chuckle, chuckle. Thanks for the read, and comment. Gee

As I've said...

The 'Killer' series is a way for me to get rid of my aggressions. I am kinda proud, of his success. I'm sure that there are those that get pissed at people the way I do, and have these thoughts. I am just one of the ones who are lucky enough to have an outlet. I understand where you are coming from with the DC comic narrative. I guess I have been influenced by comics. Wham, bam, and sock! It is not as though the victims are entirely blameless. Previously, I have not given an inkling of why the victims were targeted. I just slaughtered them. Now I feel the need to give reason to the killing. Am I becoming a 'super-hero'? LOL I think one of his powers will be a chameleon like power. He is able to blend in and take advantage of the fact that no one takes notice of him because he looks like he belongs, until it is too late. Thank you for supporting your local crime fighting super-hero. Your comments are greatly appreciated, Geezer

i remember the sixty threes my sister owned one 2 dr

large heavy and classic sculpted all I had were large cars they were the ones no one wanted in the late seventies I like this poem John carpenters movie Christine comes to mind of course and U Tube is full of human auto records of collision we think in our self containted thoughts that the division of the known is solid and yet we amble through crosswalks and meander on sidewalks with only the notion of a thin line of responsibility keeping our flesh and bones away from the chaotic stream of mass rolling by one distraction one collision one drunk one epileptic heart attack road rage and we become a small news item I often wonder how many in Rome were removed by chariot speeding through the narrow lanes Rommi and Remus would be amused at your poem as I am thank you

Yes, a two-door...

Massive front bumper, and made of steel,[3600 lbs.] Perfect for running over, and blasting people out of existence. I used to pin the speedo frequently. That 351 and four-spd. had power to spare. I think that in those days of R&R and chariots, that the rich and privileged, with their 2 and 4 horsepower 'L's and 'Tiberius Specials' made of heavy wood with iron rims, probably drove drunk on lead-laced wine, and killed many with impunity. Glad to have amused the crowd at the local ampitheater. Thanks for the comments, Gee.

ride ride ride poem

Gee., This is an insane alter-ego poem. You put the killer through hard paces destroying things like some sort of accidental vigilanty. I used to write songs for/as a homicidal rock star. It was like a movie I was designing. But at that time, I was seriously out of my mind, and friends got me to write from/for a better outcome. I'm not sure that worked, but at least the damage is mainly on me. So how are you? wcw

Damaged, but ....

Doing well, I haven't actually gone out and killed anyone, so I guess that it is working. I've had many requests for certain victims, and I am trying honor them. Must be I've struck a chord with a certain segment of the populace. The 'Dark Side' of the 'people' has spoken! I have absolute power in my works, and you know what they say about that? "Absolute power, corrupts absolutely" Glad you enjoyed, thanks for your comments. Geezer

Well Gee, I am 13 and

Well Gee, I am 13 and sitting in my Grandpa's {later my mom's loser boyfriends} 1963 1/2 ford Galexy, 2-door baby blue. It didn't have a 351, but I have one in my Bronco, poor Bronco. For that matter, poor Galexy. So I am cringing in fear from the passenger seat, then I remind myself that's what you meant to do... So job well done. A hair long, but all the little pop culture referances kept me well amused... and cringing. Julie D.D.
