who were you
O wanderer, O pilgrim, O transgressor
of the silence?

who were you September 10th?
before the rubble,
before the dust mixed with the world's tears?

who are you now,
O shared memory?

where were you then?

Dear Kailashana

The day the world stood still, I remember because when the news was on about this tragedy, on a knock on the door and we were told a relative took his own life, same day,leaving wife and children, so before the rubble , we were alive inside. Never forget. I do not think anyone will forget. I hope I edited this time. The day has been a bit frazzled. Lyz xx

the day before...poem

K., Oh, this is good. The day before Sept 11. Very much has changed since then, but you take things farther. ..."before you were born"... you take it right to the begining. You make the question ever the larger, and yet relate it all back to the fatefull day when the eyes of this world were opened. wcw
