A Missed Friend-For Jess
I haven't known him
very long,
But Jess and me?
we got along
A cutting tongue
an acid mouth,
The kindest heart
in the south
He hides it well
but I know,
its full of love
if you let him show
Here's a surprise
I'll Share with you,
our darlin' Jess
thought my poetry blew !
Not liking the rhyme
was his choice,
but friendship held
each ceded a point
And once again
what a surprise,
me and Jess
got crossed wires
But messages calm
sent back and forth,
found a friendship
of true worth
He's mad as a cut snake
"sorry my love"
but Jess speaks his mind
middle Finger raised above
Our little elf friend
Is wandering alone,
and heart's lay in pieces
until he comes home
