Black Wedding

You are all invited to my wedding
My dress will be as black as night
It will be held in a garden of shadows
Beneath the bright moon light
You wont see any roses here
Of shades of pink and red
No the only colors you will see
Are the colors of the dead
The ravens will serenade me
As I am waltzing to my love
The owls will join in with their mournful hoots
While they glide so high above
The creatures of darkness are all cackling
They are encouraging me down the aisle
They are performing their twilight romp
Celebrating in style
Hell's minions are my special guest
Satan, the father of the bride
I gaze into his lovely face
His eyes are full of pride
My groom is beckoning me closer
He will seal my fate with a tender kiss
Then he will engulf me with his bony embrace
As he drags me to the abyss

You have bewitched us into another realm and ther enacted the rituals of unknown rites, it is suddenly surprising to find the I in the whole, even though you state the you at the beginning, at first an adventurous fairy tale brought into the now and yet the there and not the here; what dark dream enchantd your mind to produce this stangely lovly dark wedding. Great imagery and suspense. I would love to have been a guest at this wedding. Satin, the father of the bride...should that be 'Satan'? You paint a wonderful picture with your words...I felt like I was there. A Honey Moon would not seem appropriate...maybe a Bloody Moon.
