For my sweet Jaina Nolee`

This is the ending
Of me

It has begun

One year ago:

The last bit
Of my laughter
Unbound itself
From my lips
And found
A new rose bud
Smile to haunt
For the first time
No more

The last of my eyes
Blinked away
Seeing love, life
And beauty
For the first time
No more

The last of my soul
Unfurled from
The center of me
Feeding life
For the first time
No more

The last of my knowledge
Spent itself quickly
Growing before me
Into something new
Something better
For the first time
No more

She knowingly counts
My tears and uses
Them to calculate
Her time

It is how she judges
Depth, love, and peace

She is the best of me
She is the last of me

Dear Emarie,

Hun I simply dont know what to say its beautifully sad, I am speachless to be honest ... I am going to level straight up I dont know you well and dont want to be rude but I feel like this is more than just a last first birthday ,(hug) there is more to this write than speaks on the surface.. I have already oversteped my bounds but I loved it and wanted you to know I am reading this but reading more into it, maybe I am mental and overtired excuse me if I am ... kind regards Jayne x x
