Your Voice

In the the twilight

of Summer,

when I thought

we may possible

die without

this love,

I heard your name

in the happy jingles

of the ocean waves.

The moment,

don't remember,

overtaken as I was

by the possible

features of your face.

And in exchange

for the frustrations,

felt at times,

I was the only witness

of your sobbing,

when the day fell

on its knees

to caress the sand.

It was then that I heard

the loving phrasing

with which you

whispered to me

the wondrous

secrets of your love.
