A Mad Mathematician
the imaginary number
a mad mathematician
discovered a number
that does not exist.
still
he thought it was beautiful
he poured it inside a symbol
so that we could see it too
we did not notice
that its beauty was
slightly diminished
by existence
a
mad
mathematician
[in the sky!]
concieved something
inconceivable
and poured it inside a symbol
so that it could be
touched
and kissed
and even concieved
and written
into equations of love and hate
men and women....
the imaginary number
I.
