Spring Tonic

Powdery puffs.
floating in tufts .

dandy a lion elite.

rocking a cradle.
sad" but not fatal.

a fly" is baiting his pole.

chewing on truffles.
off with a bustle.

ah; but alas" no worms.

back to the puffs.
floating in tufts

wind mills churning tall

rocking a cradle
sad but not fatal

A fly" on a puff" recalls.

i’m trying to find a word

i'm trying to find a word for this poem... peculiar? it's very good; i like the style and the wording. i can't exactly put my finger on it, which makes it really interesting in my opinion.

Puffs

Thanks for the review. always good to hear from another, perspective, even though; I'm not sure what that it is!!!. Just teasing, I like writing what I call off the wall poems. and I suppose thats what you could call this one. So don't worry about It. just kinda goofy. have fun write what comes to you naturally.LIsten and learn/But stay true to yourself. Thanks again. Mantiscepter

Dear Mantiscepter

Poor lazy fly. Probably all the truffles he ate, made him too heavy to use his wings, we've all hitched a ride sometime. Ha. Put a smile on my face. Witty little ditty. Lyz

To say that word with a Norwegian twist that I like. This was that, and my whole being danced on each syllable down, down, down and didn't want it to finish so soon. Like the down of the dandelion taking off and meeting the trees and the puddles and all sorts of things as it flies the words, or object you conjured up for its journey giving us different seansations as we fell, flew and rocked through you poem, terrific. Yours Ann of Norway John, or Mantis as Jayne put, although the whole name suits your strange glare. windmills

Tonic

An elixir of life mixed with a common carbon unit. Thanks for your words of kindness, was a fun little romp, and I'm happy you got to see it, and enjoyed. Mantiscepter
