I Know...

She doesn't think I know
The love she has for me
But I can feel the glow
It is in her eye, you see

The little things she does
The things when I don't look
I know it's true because
She renews my Nat. Geo book

We kiss a dozen times a day
I love to feel her touch
It is the only way
I can tell her just how much

I know that she loves me
And I love her too
She tells the tale I see
I tell it back to you

All the world should be aware
Of our love tonight
I say all to all who dare
For her love I'd fight

Nothing means what she does to me
I want nothing more than her
She is the only thing I want, you see
It will be thus... forever

She doesn't think I know......

I love this from a true Knight

Sir I doff my cap to you, but then I am female and must raise my feathers instead. This is very beautiful, we love love so true and so fine as this, Sir Launcelot could have written it to Guinevere, but you have done it for him. I give you a rose for the birthday and wish you long life and continued happiness forever. I will do another little comment plus tard as I have some tiny quibbles, but will not spoil he party yet. Your ever doting queen rises from her seat and curtsies to you, Ann.

Hello Geezer!

This is the first time I have commented on one of your pieces, but this one was so strategically placed on the stream - I couldn't resist it! Liked the way the title unraveled it's meaning in the poem. You indeed know and you proved to us why you love her - "let me not to the marriage of true minds admit impediments" Sonnet 116 Shakespeare. Enjoy! Bonita j

Romeo

From Romeo to his Juliette, how lucky you both are to be so much in love and that fire in the belly, stoked. We can sometimes get complacent but after reading this, I am satisfied that true love still exists. Birthday wishes to your wife, and I know you both know. Thank u for this share. Lyz.x.

This loveable lovely piece of poetry

This loveable lovely piece of poetry to a dear one. I am back as promised!!! The last verse is different and I feel needs a little doctoring, the sentiments are wonderful, but the rhythm a little broken up and "her is what it’d be
I will be here always, ever If you just read that out loud you will see what I mean, don't you Sir Geezer? It needs a little knightly jousting and then it will fall into place and you may embrace your love once more from me. Q. Ann of Norway
