A Some body

A  scruffy man

sleeps with his blanket

on a bench in town

he is  just one of the many people

who is poor and homeless

his life is seen by many

 as an outcast from society

and yet

how can this be

when no one  knows or why

he has ended up like this

his only fault

was to lose his way in life

it makes me angry

to see people’s ignorance is all around

this person is like you and me

he is part of the human race

and so there for

we should show some respect  for him

Dear Karen

There it goes, five stars for the theme, and compassion. Now, if you ask me: it's really outrageous that a human being could live in such conditions, and more so, if that man lives in a highly developed society. Great sensibility, and great poem! Regards, Hugo
