Axis Mundi

Axis Mundi Death is beamed through the sky! So the sunshine boy Goes on rasping light between his fingers, And paving paper-hearts white. He let the mini-angels Rest their halos on his back during their journey. All the while his lover Was left behind screaming about. Every Word could hear her twinkling death sounds, "This is the end....... This is the end!" She screams. The boy and lover render slow smearing kisses, And bloody the mercury waters into Blue black oil-marbled currents. A tide pool where the heartbeats waver and go out. Together they saddle up on meteors, And ride violently till they come jagged diamonds. At this point they listen to the comets chatter like teeth, While their hearts extract and retract from volcanoe mines Where the walls were sharp and obsidian. It ripped their feet to shreds Like tattered fire sheets of cream linen. The next day they woke in black Eden sands And a half-utter later, They followed the shoal of sprats Down migratory blades on the horizon. The setting night is bleeding now... And still death remains on the map.

Hi

Very sad, and a violent love story in death. Great play on words. And as written, still death remains on the map. How true. Thanks for sharing, Lyz

And the sun goes supernova...

You really are a master of metaphor aren't you? Love the worldly over view for this turbulent, devastating death storm wrangled I think more from lust than deep love. This poem take you on tulmultant ride on a donkey through a cactai field in the hope to sting and awake the reader to its grandeur. Extreme expansive and I love the raw and ricketiness of the rhythm to pummel and pound the reader in submission. And there behind the life death peers, until he taps you on the shoulder and says "your turn!". Whoa a real wild ride with much vigour and passion thrown in behind darkness but so cleverly written. Brilliant! Woldwide Freeride :)
