The Winds of Life
The Winds of Life
I know not where I need to be
I try not to be where I am, but
The winds of life
Carries me where I wish not to be
I want to run away, but
I can’t find stability
In this confused state
Where no one cares to call
I ride the rollercoaster of life
Where sudden drops of
Understanding is gone like the wind
Through my windblown hair
I‘m not at the bottom of the ride
Or at the top of the coaster, but
In the middle of a change
Coming like a bullet
One way or the other
This coaster must come down
From it height of uncertainty
Where I land, I do not know
I know not where I need to be
I try not to be where I am, but
The winds of life
Carries me where I wish not to be
I want to run away, but
I can’t find stability
In this confused state
Where no one cares to call
I ride the rollercoaster of life
Where sudden drops of
Understanding is gone like the wind
Through my windblown hair
I‘m not at the bottom of the ride
Or at the top of the coaster, but
In the middle of a change
Coming like a bullet
One way or the other
This coaster must come down
From it height of uncertainty
Where I land, I do not know
