The Depths Of The Sea

Depths of the Sea

Armada seas
Dark clouds
Thoughts release
Into the ripple

Riding calm winds
Above mountaintops
Strife no more
Rotting in my bones

Silvery moon light
Endless waters
Inhale Ocean’s mist
Upon my flesh

Above the horizon
Cool fresh miasma
Internal silence
In my veins

hello

Barbara, I think this is the most beautiful poem I have read of yours so far. It is calm, peaceful and very restful. I liked it so much that I read it twice. I think it is a lovely candidate for the spoken word. Thanks for sharing this with us. Always, Cat

I am so appreciative of your comment. Yesterday, I saw this vision of wide open endless sea under beautiful skies and felt like I was there. I actually felt the freshness of the cool water and it had an calming affect on me as my presence move over the mountain in the middle of this endless sea. So I had to try to put it to poetry so others can feel what I felt. This calming affect came out of nowhere. ~~~~~~~~~ Be whoever you are At all times, and Remember that Because of this, people will Always Respect, and Admire you ©2008Leonard Respectfully Yours, Barbara

The Depths Of The Sea

Barbara, Wow this from a vision? You certainly had me believing you were right there by the sea and mountains~ ____________________________________________________ Income-tax forms should be more realistic by allowing the taxpayer to list "Uncle Sam" as a dependent Anonymous

Pretentious ?

I attempted to descriptively write what I felt and saw in this poem. Was not an easy task, but I think I did okay. Glad you thought it was good. ~~~~~~~~~ Be whoever you are At all times, and Remember that Because of this, people will Always Respect, and Admire you ©2008Leonard Respectfully Yours, Barbara
