Vox Dei

 Bastion of darkness--

 Alone in the cathedral,
 
 a quivering candelabra

 scene distant in a
 
 wax pool. The tabernacle

is a tin prism

greased with rainbow. 



A man

reclines in the
 
purple hue

of petitions,

waiting.



Gabriel sings and dribbles

golden phlegm--

eyelash curls in smoke.


The ant rattle of pills....
