The Same Coloured Blood
I'm burning up on re-entry
my eye gives a sparkle
as i flip a coin to each sentry
They're quite complimentary
so I tip my top hat
and give a flick of my tails
you see
these are great men
men born of fighting and spite
men who relish in hellish intent
evident from the gaps in their pearly whites
i think:
"smile, now smile harder!"
I'll harbor those more harsher thoughts
behind my eyes, like i was taught
we have the same coloured blood
me and you
pumping through our hearts
and i believe with all i am
that I ain't any better than thou art.
my eye gives a sparkle
as i flip a coin to each sentry
They're quite complimentary
so I tip my top hat
and give a flick of my tails
you see
these are great men
men born of fighting and spite
men who relish in hellish intent
evident from the gaps in their pearly whites
i think:
"smile, now smile harder!"
I'll harbor those more harsher thoughts
behind my eyes, like i was taught
we have the same coloured blood
me and you
pumping through our hearts
and i believe with all i am
that I ain't any better than thou art.
