Winter

Scotland - COLD
 Me - OLD
Fingers - BLUE
(Nose too)
Birds - MIGRATE
I - STAGNATE
Wait for Spring
Then start again

Well done

A humourous treatment of winter that brought a smile to my face. Oh, and it rhymes and it is less than 100 characters and it's an entry into the August contest. One quick note, I love that the last line hints at rhyming without technically rhyming. It presents no stumble and is a good conclusion, wrapping up the piece when it would have been easier just to end it. --Jonathan Annoying the world, one person at a time (Group discounts available)

winter

I couldn't resist having a go once it dawned on me how short the piece would be. Hope you enjoyed your break (break a few heads?). Always thought John Little no match for Robin Hood, the guy with the bow against big guy with a stick. lol Glad you're as cantankerous as ever, good to hear from you Regards Ian T

Glad it gave you pleasure, can't beat a good laugh. The winter isn't far away, here, it skipped through summer and autumn with a carefree whistle ! Kindest Regards Ian T
